Douglass Mackey was convicted for posting a joke meme about Hillary Clinton. He is facing ten years in prison. Kristina Wong @mskristinawong posted the same joke meme about Donald Trump. She is running for office and is facing no time in prison. Why the different treatment? @Jim_Jordan h/t @greg_price11
@amuse @mskristinawong Maybe because she was a professional comedian at the time and her job was satire protected by 1A? Clearly you aren't a lawyer.
@amuse @mskristinawong Douglass Mackey shared a specific phone number for people to text saying that it was a legitimate vote. 4900 people texted the number. The worst thing that could happen to some one who saw Kristina Wong’s tweet was they might google how to vote by text and find Douglass’ tweet.
@amuse @mskristinawong It's almost like there is a different level of enforcement.
@amuse @denisemd111 @mskristinawong Do we know what state she is in? if its a RED STATE the AG can arrest her for election interference since the standard has been set, R AGs are going to have to step up and make leftists lives as miserable as possible to stop the abuse of R voters
@amuse @catturd2 @mskristinawong I hope everyone, regardless of political opinion, fully grasp what is taking place and the irreparable damage that is happening in real time to our justice system and Country. It is escalating fast and there is no turning back.
@amuse @catturd2 @mskristinawong It is my understanding that he had a working phone number, with scam information
@amuse @mskristinawong They will be coming for more. The precedent has been set.
@amuse @mskristinawong Realistically anyone who falls for that shouldn't have a vote. That said, I certainly believe in equal protection and punishment under the law. Lock her up
@amuse @mskristinawong Everyone knows why the two are treated differently.
@amuse @mskristinawong Yes! What is the difference?? She should be prosecuted too!
