Whoa. THREE Memphis fire personnel were just fired for their failure to act while police officers were beating Tyre Nichols to death. More good news and I hope this sends a strong message to every law enforcement officer in the nation that there are consequences for inaction.

Statement from the Memphis fire department: "Their actions or inactions on the scene that night do not meet the expectations of the Memphis Fire Department and are not reflective of the outstanding service the men and women of the [MFD] provide daily in our community."

@Victorshi2020 They need to be arrested too. No more of this brutality.

@Victorshi2020 @OGNurseRatchet Why did it take 22 minutes for paramedics to arrive? Seems like too long to me.

@Victorshi2020 I get so tired of reading statements like this after something completely inconsistent with the statement happens.

@Victorshi2020 It was obvious to him that the police controlled the narrative and wanted everyone's reports to 'match' (the PD's). I respected this guy for his ethical take.

@Victorshi2020 Finally, he even named a major hospital in Hartford, CT that went along with the PD no matter what. I stay away from that hospital for these reasons.
