Good morning. Tyre Nichols should be alive, but he isn’t because of a broken police system. @MsPackyetti is going to join me to talk about what we must change so more people don’t die at the hands of police. Join us below right now. youtu.be/HuLKpeHgsTs
@Victorshi2020 @MsPackyetti No detachment training. No routine therapeutics to identify emotional attachment. No R&R timeouts in lower crime beats. Pay is too low. Vacations are too short. They’re not honored enough. Depts are underfunded yet the troops are held to a USMarine-like standard.
@Victorshi2020 @MsPackyetti It’s pretty sad when a hairdresser undergoes more hours of training than a police recruit. This is unheard of in other developed countries.
@Victorshi2020 @MsPackyetti It seems like the job of policing attracts some with violent tendencies. At least two of those officers have history. You can’t train that out of them. Better vetting is needed.
@Victorshi2020 @MsPackyetti In the 1750's to 1900's insurer's would hang a Fire Mark to show the building was insured and Volunteer firemen would respond. Towns and cities who want policing abolished should follow that lead. Period. They'd save tons of money for social workers to respond. Whaddya think?😐
@Victorshi2020 @MsPackyetti Psychologically speaking, how do you reform their deeply embedded beliefs and behavior? Things like holding them personally and financially responsible when they get caught in these heinous acts instead of taxpayers might be one way to help stop much of the behavior.
