The Affordable Care Act is a statement of purpose about the nation we must be: a nation where all people, no matter who they are, where they live, or how much they earn, can access the health care they need.
@VP It’s got to be cheaper and we must get Medicaid in all states. Elect democrat governors so we can get it done. And there’s some people that make too much for Medicaid and not enough for ACA. Got to fix that too.
@VP How tempted was she to write: “Hahaha-hahahahhaa!” After this
@VP The theory is excellent but it unfortunately is still not true for those of us that live in Red States.
@VP Some of us have to pay for all of it!! Our own insurance and paying onerous excessive taxes for all the free stuff!!
@VP ...just never mind the whopping bill you'll get due to the deductible and high cost.
@VP What about when we turn 65? I’m paying $36 a month now, I turn 65 this year and have to go on Medicare for $181 plus the other parts. I only make $1,000 and can’t work. Food stamps cut to $23 per month for 2 of us on S.S. How can we survive? Rent, utilities and more.
@VP Except that's not the case. Some make too much for help but are still priced out as part of the middle class.
@VP Kamala, I am 100 percent on your side. I admire the Democratic party for caring about ALL Americans and their need for healthcare. Thank you for being the caring person you are.
