Twitter is enforcing its long-standing API rules. That may result in some apps not working.

@TwitterDev _please_ hire a professional comms person, because somehow you have managed to compose a tweet that is both needlessly aggressive and completely uninformative.
@TwitterDev Ok, restore Tweetbot capability now.
@TwitterDev So next time build a web scraper instead of using the API you say?
@TwitterDev "Twitter hereby reserves the right to force right-wing and antivax content upon our users whenever Daddy Elon sees fit, and any user of our APIs that prevents this may be eliminated at any time.."
@TwitterDev Nope. - Hey @elonmusk this is how you watch your daily active user count plummet.
@TwitterDev That appears to have been a lie. The API Development Agreement was changed on Jan 19. This tweet is from Jan 17. arstechnica.com/tech-policy/20…
@TwitterDev @TitterTakeover If the 3rd party apps pay Twitter then maybe it’s ok, but otherwise why let them cannibalize on Twitter? Old Twitter have clearly been run by sub-standard management, but not any more…
@TwitterDev I think it’s weird to be like “we need to open source the code” and also “we don’t have an API.” The latter is far more useful and truly open than the third.
