Y’all please be careful what you say to human beings online. People mess up and sometimes it’s incredibly harmful and something needs to be said. But you can engage in dialogue about someone’s views and reprimand them without belittling their humanity.

Please speak truth when it needs to be spoken - the general track of wisdom is that others help us see where we fail. But hopefully your goal is to give someone else a chance to grow in kindness and I think holding them accountable in a loving way teaches them how that looks.

Maybe this won’t be my best-respected opinion. But seeing someone devalue the humanity of other people and responding to it in the same way is letting them taint your good heart. And hate will drain you, even when it feels well-placed.

@TwerculesT I wish I had a positive outlook on humanity

@Quantum_Witcher Fought hard for that one myself! Because I know there’s many a reason not to ❤️

@TwerculesT I often associate this to the internet - people say things that would get them punched in person with no fear of repercussions

@NFKeeks Another general statement based on observation of many things I’ve seen on here ❤️

Righteous anger is often justified. But being constantly outraged is unhealthy, and it makes ppl easily manipulatable. And I'm tired of ppl using righteous anger as a license for being an a-hole. Even if the target absolutely deserves it, does the world need it in this instance?
