@TristanSnell Ban assault-style weapons. It worked for ten years.
@TristanSnell @TPBlue4 The AR-15 is the most popular rifle worldwide and it can easily fire as many as 1200 rounds per minute depending on the version of the gun, caliber, and trigger. That’s 20 rounds per second.
@TristanSnell More people killed with knives than rifles. Go figure.
@TristanSnell Just ban them. The right to bare/bear arms was written several centuries ago when it was relevant. Your constitution needs bringing into the 21st century.
@TristanSnell @PlannedTheRide Just. Restore. The ban. Anybody dumb enough to check a box that says civilians should be allowed to cart around AR-15s should immediately go on a Violent Sociopath Watch List.
@TristanSnell The Nashville shooter did not use an AR15 both were KelTec Sub 2000s they are basically Glock handguns with a stock & long barrel added that shoot 9mm rounds
@TristanSnell It’s a fine rifle. Lots of options.
@TristanSnell All of the media highlighting the school shootings and overlooking the daily neighborhood shootings because it better fights the AR-15 narrative
@TristanSnell Now explain how these events would magically have never happened if AR15s were banned. As opposed to, you know; simply being carried out with a different weapon.
