You couldn’t ask for a graph that more explicitly shows the difference between spending under Labour vs National.
Fixing the basics, building the future.
Families deserve answers.
National is focused on supporting victims, creating safer communities, and holding violent criminals to account.
Labour on the other hand…
Labour complaining about prisons again.
People should consider the consequences of their actions before committing crime. That way they wouldn’t end up in prison in the first place.
Labour aren’t just soft on crime, their first priority is clearly criminals, not victims.
If Christopher Luxon got on a plane Labour would have been criticising the PM for his fuel usage. Labour are barking at passing cars while National is ensuring fuel supply for Kiwis and targeted support to those who need it the most.
A very special day for us, while our community was dealing with something absolutely heartbreaking.
I’ve shared some reflections with the Herald here.

It is with a heavy heart that I send my thoughts and condolences to the family that have lost two of their loved ones in the Welcome Bay slip.
Our thoughts as a country are with you.
Thank you to teams that worked so hard to recover them, I know how you will be feeling.
At the select committee today, I told Ginny that I thought gang membership had increased by about 2,000 under Labour.
I was wrong. It was 4,000, or 75%.
No wonder they were so upset.
If we want real debates about employment, responsibility, accountability, and how our system works, the least the media can do is start with the facts.
One of the questions I get most often from people in our community is why the quality of journalism in New Zealand has slipped so far. This is a perfect example.
New Zealand deserves better than cut-and-paste journalism that skips the fundamentals.
The media ran their story painting a picture of a man applying for nearly 8,000 jobs and being failed by the system. What they didn’t bother to mention: he’d been in prison, sentenced to 25 years for kidnapping and carjacking with a deadly weapon.

This one slipped below the radar, but is well the worth!
Oriini Kaipara butchers Te Pāti Māori’s opposition of the juries (age of excusal) amendment bill and gets destroyed by National’s Tom Rutherford, who picks apart Kaipara, mocks Takuta Ferris, calls out the hypocrisy of Te Pāti Māori and still has time to highlight the positives of the bill while taking down Labour’s Arena Williams.
Brilliant stuff!
