@TimOnTheTractor What does it mean exactly that water is a human right?
@TimOnTheTractor We should all agree that water is a human right. The problem is that only 99% agree. 1% do not agree. Guess how it will play out ...
@TimOnTheTractor Privatizing basic human needs is a long term goal of the Libertarian philosophy. The pain and suffering of the many for the benefit of a few. France is an excellent example of people standing up for the common good.
@TimOnTheTractor You betcha. They better not touch the GREAT LAKES!
@TimOnTheTractor Privatization of everything leads to slavery. Our current system of slavery is transitioning from race based to class-based. Technology advancements mean the ruling class won't need as many cops, doctors, or the current professional class.
@TimOnTheTractor But that's literally the major difference between the left and the right. The right believes in private ownership and monopolization of Nature's resources and the means of production where the left believes in the commons, jointly held for the benefit of society, not owners.
@TimOnTheTractor All the parties listed are capitalists tho lol They already gleefully comodify food and shelter. Even healthcare in America ! Why would they draw the line at water ?
