@plasmarob @bigaiguy EMACS has "evil" mode in Spacemacs and Doom emacs. If you shorten the pop up window config, you can meander around before you need to learn the base emacs commands to do more things. Rec Spacemacs though if it's still being maintained.

I REALLY wish that long ass JRPG/RPG games would all have a short “to be continued..” synopsis when you boot a game back up because sometimes I feel so lost on what I’m supposed to do or what I last did in the journey especially if it’s an old school game with no markers etc.

@plasmarob @bigaiguy Everyone I know who uses EMACS is cracked. I'd be on it too if Spacemacs didn't have a 3+ year lull where packages weren't getting updated.

The world is getting worse and i don't think it's going to stop. and the honest truth is, most people who tell you to fight back are also losing. the only person i've ever watched actually keep their mind through something terrible was a quiet woman who never talked about strength once. she just did normal things with frightening consistency. she waked up early, she made food, she cleaned her place, she talked to people like they mattered, even when she knew how bad it was. maybe especially because she knew how bad it was. and it shamed me, because i was out there talking about the darkness, thinking that made me useful. and she was just quietly not letting it into her kitchen

The problem with the FF7 Re:Trilogy being 3 games is that the first revealed this wasn't a remake at all. It was a "reimagining." And people disappointed or disinterested by this didn't bother with Pt 2 which sold half as much as Pt 1 while costing more. SE played themselves.

@Swurv__ It allows for risk, innovation, and differentiators. If everything were on the same platform, the wiimote, DS, 3DS, PSVR, PSP, Vita, Switch wouldn't exist. Nintendo underpowers hardware to make quality games. Sony pushes graphics and story. Xbox...makes things worse for everyone.

I get the point of posts like this, but I need to reiterate for anyone who wasn't old enough to be there at the time: on release, bw were loathed. they were seen as the pinnacle of pokemon "going downhill" and "losing creativity". this style was abandoned because it was hated.
