Automakers are losing money on EVs, delaying investments, calling the EV market "brutal". They would've given up by now if it weren't for Tesla showing them (and more importantly, their stakeholders) what is possible. We are so fortunate for this. Thanks, @Tesla

@Xil_llix True, but a larger drop in Model Y (units and percentage) for a smaller update, so probably other factors, but could've contributed.

Here we go, just got production numbers for Giga Shanghai in September... Tesla produced 18,104 Model 3 during the month. While Tesla cut list prices on Model 3/Y tonight, inventory discounts appear to have been removed for the time being. There isn’t a single vehicle near me that is discounted (excluding demo vehicles).
