Radical lawmakers can't erase women or their rights from our Constitution. This attempt is legally and morally wrong and would unleash harmful legal implications. The deadline for states to ratify the ERA has long passed and was rightfully rejected. kennedy.senate.gov/public/press-r…
@SenJohnKennedy Women and their rights were never put in the Constitution to begin with. How very predictable that you and Cindy Hyde-Smith would waste your time on this, instead of doing something to help women.
EXACTLY. The ERA was not ratified to the Constitution because the deadline passed without having the necessary support from 3/4 of 50 states. Congress does not have the authority to change a resolution that proposes a constitutional amendment after it is submitted to the states or after the deadline is reached.
@SenJohnKennedy But yet they are doing it with the help of Powerful woke politicians-WOMEN
@SenJohnKennedy You realize that's exactly what happened when women's right to bodily autonomy & self-determination was stripped away from us. Please don't pretend like you're pro Equal Rights. There is nothing equal about that.
@SenJohnKennedy John, stop this charade. The whole point of bolstering the constitutional language is to stop what we're seeing in red states. Lawmakers continuing to make laws that disenfranchise women of their rights. This needs to stop and you and Cindy are playing into their hands.
@SenJohnKennedy What color is this sky on the planet where ratifying the ERA would damage women's rights?
