Tight monetary policy doubled with market participants expecting way too much despite it creates a toxic growth environment. Mass cleansing crypto from as many perps-only people will also help create a more stable growth curve for Ethereum next cycle. Assuming we aren't stuck in a high rate environment for years atleast... As far as ATH goes, it usually comes faster than people think once market is fully flushed, but if OI stays high and spot bids never step in properly then yes, maybe it will take significantly longer. But for me you must have OI plummet because hoping spot bids appear magically out of nowhere is a fools errand ngl, therefor i think its safe to say that i am betting on further capulation before an eventual bottom is found, from which 12~ months out is a more than fair shot at ATH.

It's actually incredible to me that so many people think 60k region will hold. Market continuously traps people on bounces and ideas of strength coming out of nowhere. It won't happen, it's either mass capitulation or time based capitulation. The chances people think they get are nothing more than the clockwork eventually grinding them down.

@ArdiNSC In my book i see it breaking but not the way people imagine. Much larger summer drop than anyone anticipates would seem unprecedented but honestly really healthy, a mass exodus of OI, and perhaps then you could build a solid base despite a potential stock market correction in Q4

@benjamincowen IMO the biggest headwind to this is the fact there is so much interest in keeping the oil industry going & diverse green energy, we've had the technology for a LONG to make the transition to nuclear, there is simply just not enough money in it.

@MitchMartan98 That's based on two assumptions: 1) Price has much further upside potential than downside 2) The economical shift you're talking about continues its trajectory Neither are guaranteed. Nothing is, so you can call it asymmetrical but it's really just a qualified guess
