GPT-4 knows books and authors. One of my followers asked if I read the Culture series. Just with that little data, it figured out how to answer. Are you forcing yourself to ask GPT-4 questions on anything that pops into your mind? I am and am learning more in a few minutes than I used to learn in a week.
@Scobleizer I prompted ChatGPT Free to “create a Python course outline with Masterful Instruction for a Beginner with no code experience” The outline in full took about 10-15min. I transferred it to a Notion. Now I’m going down the outline and asking it to teach me. I’ll let u know.
@Scobleizer I love reading how you parse your parsing. It helps me learn.
@Scobleizer Great use case, but it’s apparent knowledge of books can be deceptive. It fails to summarize most German works I have read, even very popular ones like "The Metamorphosis", someone in my german class used it to write an essay about it and it was very off
@Scobleizer But you're missing out on the experience of reading some of the best science fiction of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
@Scobleizer It doesn’t “know” what reading a book means. It can retrieve and summarize data.
