In Japan, kids can run errands and commute to school alone at a young age. Why? Because Japan has decided that children in Japan are the collective responsibility of society to keep safe. That’s the choice Japan has made. What choice has AMERICA made?

I can’t believe this needs to be said but kids still do get kidnapped/murdered in Japan. There’s also a severe problem with kids being left in abusive home environments until tragedy happens. So please put this “collective responsibility” nonsense away.

@Rudymer2 @UnseenJapanSite They literally have made women-only train cars because of this.

@Rudymer2 @UnseenJapanSite I've been to USA for a whole month and didn't see a single case of gun violence, so obviously it is not a massive problem over there.

@Rudymer2 @UnseenJapanSite Now this is the high quality discourse i've been looking for.

@Rudymer2 @UnseenJapanSite 😂 3 weeks and probably only been on the train once for an hour

@Rudymer2 @UnseenJapanSite Oh well if you were there for 3 weeks that settles it as far as I'm concerned

@Rudymer2 @UnseenJapanSite Yeah Train gropings for example are a problem so widespread in Japan some trains have gender segregated carriages.
