Thanks, Georgia!

Today, the ATF showed up with 16 agents, most from out-of-state from cities like LA and San Francisco, to “inspect” Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna, GA. This visit was unprecedented. The sheer amount of agents from the bluest parts of the country is unusual and unnecessary to…

@RepMTG But no concern over a shooting at a small Christian grade school with "multiple patients," right Marge?

@RepMTG You all are off the rails. The ATF can conduct compliance randomly when and where they choose. What difference does it make that this business is 45 years old?

@RepMTG ATF has been inspecting Gun Stores since 1968 Marge… The Gun Control Act of 1968 (Act) established the ATF's FFL inspection program “for ensuring compliance with the record keeping requirements” of the Act.

@RepMTG Have you thought about going to Nashville and speaking face to face with the parents of the children killed today? With the surviving families of the adults killed? Perfect opportunity for you to explain why you and your gun-loving colleagues vote the way you do.

@RepMTG And another thing, since when is an inspection an overreach? YOU took it upon yourself to inspect some jails. ATF is actually SUPPOSED to inspect places like Adventure Outdoors. Stop eroding trust in Federal law enforcement. They can't all be bad apples like you.

@RepMTG The ATF regularly inspects guns stores. The last inspection of Adventure Outdoors, "The Largest Gun Store in the World", was in 1997. Every gun sale in the past six years has to be reviewed which takes significant personnel. This inspection is NOT unprecedented, it's routine.

@RepMTG MAGA hates law enforcement. @GOP is arming the drug cartels that cross the border with the A.R. 15’s, because they are too weak to stand up to the gun lobbyists ⚠️so sad, protect our children now, and stop arming cartels!
