Why do prescriptions cost so much? Part of the reason lies with middle men known as pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). Today, we pulled back the curtain on these little-known companies -- and made the case for Medicare for All to reduce drug costs for everyone.
@RepAOC No. The government has proven they’re horrid administrators in every example given.
Just a deflection to what is really going on: high inflation, high interest rates, no longer energy independence, weakening the dollar, illegal immigration has exploded (child sex trafficking), failed foreign policy, crime rates, CRT, Diversity, equity, and inclusion (trojan horse for left wing ideology), indoctrination, sex education to minors and drag shows, military recruitment not meeting goal (woke, CRT, DEI, indoctrination), military budget not keeping up with inflation, Afghanistan debacle, 1st amendment, 2nd amendment, cancel culture, Woke, fentanyl deaths (over 100,000), Chinese spy balloon, political persecution of a former president, socialist/communist ideology, weaponizing DOJ and FBI, Durham report, 2 tier justice system, thinks the planet is going to end. Elections have consequences.
@RepAOC Or pharmacies could just buy direct, Medicare for all does nothing for this issue since the govt also uses a pbm.
@RepAOC Medicare for Congress and the President, too?
@RepAOC The cost lies in regulation, risk and research.
@RepAOC Why not just make all prescription drugs (except opioids) free? You want to pay for everything else. Insulin, BP meds, cholesterol meds should be paid by the govt. Think of the bargaining power you would have with the drug companies if the govt was their only customer?
@RepAOC Do you have a problem keeping your hands in one place? When you speak on camera people get distracted by your unnecessary distractions with your hands! You must have learned that from the Pelosi’s speeches! It’s a really bad habit. Take some public speaking classes it will help.
