Manchin says he doesn’t support a talking filibuster that goes around 60-vote threshold and won’t support the nuclear option to change rules. Says he’s fine with a primary challenge over this

What an elaborate way to say you don't give a shit about voting rights

@PodSaveAmerica What if we asked him one more time? Think he’d change his mind? We need to move on to things we know we can get done!

@PodSaveAmerica just take the ECA deal and let's move on, it's clear we arent getting the voting bills passed

@PodSaveAmerica For MONTHS he's been saying he would support a talking filibuster. Now what he is saying is his issue is not with the filibuster at all, he wants a 60 votes threshold for any legislation ever, period.

@PodSaveAmerica When are we suppose to give a shit about election subversion ? Seems like a way more pressing issue given the circumstances, also probably have more votes in the Senate for it.

@PodSaveAmerica Well if we can't change it for our benefit maybe he'd be for reestablishing the filibuster for Republican priorities as well? If we need 60, then so do they. "Bipartisanship"

@PodSaveAmerica He's also making it all about him instead of democracy

@PodSaveAmerica Please tell me that @CrookedMedia has a betting pool for when Manchin leaves the Dem party.
