These people can't be serious.
@AbundantLandUse Perhaps you should read the paper and its references.
@PatrickHeizer @AbundantLandUse Do you think science is deciding on a hypothesis and seeking data to try to conform to your theory, misinterpreting to suit you?
@JeffCavanagh1 @AbundantLandUse I do not think that. It is indisputable that SARS-CoV-2 affects children less than adults. There must be a reason for this and multiple independent studies suggest it is because of a strong innate immune response.
@PatrickHeizer @AbundantLandUse It is not indisputable. In 2022 children were far more likely to be hospitalized due to Covid. That "strong" immune response leaves children more susceptible to reinfections and opportunistic infections. I wonder if you actually read any of those studies.
@JeffCavanagh1 @AbundantLandUse It literally is indisputable. The 'surge' in '22 hospitalizations came during the '21-'22 winter wave & was mostly primary infection Children are not susceptible to reinfection or opportunistic infections See, I actually read studies & analyze the data, unlike you, apparently
@PatrickHeizer @JeffCavanagh1 Please do not use this chart to minimize effect on kids. It's very dishonest about human immune system.
