@VivaMozElvis Preston Sturges is such an underrated comedic genius. This is one of my favorites. Everything works so well and it's up there with the best screwball comedies. Have you seen his other films? If not, I would recommend "Sullivan's Travels" and "The Palm Beach Story" among others.

@VivaMozElvis @TheWho I love the Who but those live recordings are next-level. They are my dad's favorite band and he said they were the loudest and best band he ever seen live.

The Who is the first artist to be repeated in my 'Album of the Day' ventures since I started in Jan. 2022. 'Live at Leeds' was selected last year for its inclusion on the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums list too. There will be a few others repeated in the coming weeks.

@ChristyHallberg I enjoyed it much more on a second viewing. Story made more sense and the experience was great. I also appreciated the performances much more, especially from Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan. The one who deserved their Oscar was the editor because....my god, lol.

@gbscobel Seeing it a second time helped me understand the story more and focus less on its visual effects. I did enjoy it a lot more on the big screen, although it's more that I still find slightly overhyped.

Seeing this on the big screen right now. EEAAO didn’t play where I lived last year so I missed out. I saw it at home a while back and had a lukewarm reaction (liked it but didn’t love it). My friends keep saying you gotta see in a theater and so here we are!
