The next generation spacesuit. @NASA selected @Axiom_Space to develop the suits for the Artemis III mission to the lunar surface. The first prototype was revealed today during an event at Space Center Houston in Texas. bit.ly/3TkcUt9
@NASA_Johnson @NASA_Astronauts @NASA @Axiom_Space @NASAArtemis Question, is black a color u want to wear in +200 degrees? I know there is a cooling system but i thought there was a reason most suits are white.
@NASA_Johnson @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN @NASA @Axiom_Space @NASAArtemis How much do they weigh, on Earth?
@NASA_Johnson @NASA @Axiom_Space @NASAArtemis Not a fan of the palette but looks alright.
@NASA_Johnson @NASA @Axiom_Space @NASAArtemis Looks way more comfortable and easier to move around with it, than the Apollo era suits
@NASA_Johnson @NASA @Axiom_Space @NASAArtemis It looks amazing. To the Moon!

@NASA_Johnson @NASA @Axiom_Space @NASAArtemis That looks dope, but it’ll have to be white, right?
@NASA_Johnson @NASA @Axiom_Space @NASAArtemis The colour seems suitable for masking the accumulation of grime from the various tests and trials down here. Wouldn't make for pretty pictures otherwise. Surely these would come in classic white for the actual missions. The originals being so good, it is great to see similarities
@NASA_Johnson @NASA @Axiom_Space @NASAArtemis Upon reading this tweet two questions came to mind, first what happened to the suit you developed and had a big press event on a year or two ago? Just dump it after you spent millions of taxpayer dollars on it’s development? (1/2)
