12 hours ago@paperswiftie13 @ts10_outsold @elincomprendid Lol the unhinged one has entered the building again! Everyone batten down the hatches!

a day ago@paperswiftie13 @ts10_outsold @elincomprendid You are so unhinged its almost unreal. I love it💀💀💀💀

a day ago@paperswiftie13 @ts10_outsold @elincomprendid Listen to yourself. Go re-read this. You are UNHINGED! Calm the fuck down. Take your medication. Learn to accept your opinion is not the end all be all, people can disagree with you without you having a meltdown. Jesus fucking christ.

2 days ago@paperswiftie13 @ts10_outsold @elincomprendid I'll also just add it likely won't be possible on Dua's next album either because NOW she is too well established, everyone will check out the song the moment its released.

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 days ago@paperswiftie13 @ts10_outsold @elincomprendid It just means its a completely different thing then what the original poster was looking at. This type of trajectory of a song, relying on people finding it on radio or playlists, is simply not possible for a Taylor Swift.. Too many people instantly check out the song.

2 days ago@paperswiftie13 @ts10_outsold @elincomprendid Don't Start Now didn't explode right out of the gate, it literally took months for the song to find its audience both in the US and globally (it debuted in November and didn't reach its peack streaming numbers till the following April!). Thats not a negative for the song!

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 days ago@paperswiftie13 @ts10_outsold @elincomprendid first of all, the original poster can do whatever the hell they want, its not for you to make the decision on the context of their post. Songs from a well established artist are almost always on a completely different trajectory then songs from a less established artist.

2 days ago@marslavnderhaze @TMlovesRED Its true that Taylors Big Machine catalogue sold for around $330 mil, but you make a mistake when you say its (masters + publishing) as only the rights to Swifts big machine master recordings were sold. Taylor has always maintained control & ownership of her publishing catalogue

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 days ago@marslavnderhaze @TMlovesRED You're correct about past income generated not equaling the value of an artists catalog when selling it or getting it appraised (where you are trying to put a present worth value on future earnings).. But I think you misstate the value of Taylors back catalogue..

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 days ago@MangoSorbet6 @GiteshPandya How is he inferring anything remotely like that? Hes a box office analysts simply stating the box office numbers for this years best picture nominees.

3 days ago@henrythonger @TheSwiftSociety Last time taylor included exclusive songs on a target cd was 1989 and she didn’t release any of those onto itunes until i believe February 2015 after 1989’s late October 2014 release

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
3 days ago@henrythonger @TheSwiftSociety Its almost certainly because they had a contract with target for the target CD to be the sole distributor for the 3 target CD only tracks (hits different + the 2 remixes) for a set amount of time..

5 days ago@kylebuchanan @andrewjtfraser And what you heard ended up being correct.. good call. Now i’m dying to know what it was you heard!

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
6 days ago@updateswiftbr @TheSwiftSociety why are we saying "TAYLOR NO BRASIL" when its been confirmed that she is going to Brasil? help im confused

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
6 days ago@ScottChomistek @keithedwards I use both too.. maybe im crazy but Apples sound quality is legitimately better to me, especially when listening in the car (but i also notice it with headphones).. and then i tend to prefer Spotify’s algorithm, interface & features.

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
6 days ago@keithedwards @ScottChomistek Do what i do.. i pay for my own Spotify account & my parents have an apple music family plan so im one of the authorized accounts on that. I guess thats very millennial of me to use mom & dads streaming account but I mean come on, the family plan is going to waste if i don’t..

6 days ago@CollinsSara2000 @TheSwiftSociety @taylorswift13 @eldialp The article mentioned that Chile could also be getting a stop but they couldn’t confirm it (i’d assume it would be Santiago or a nearby suburb?).. And then id figure Mexico is a strong possibility too (at least Mexico City, possibly Monterrey and Guadalajara??)

a week ago@umichvoter in North Orange County where large numbers of Korean Americans live across the cities of Buena Park, Fullerton, La Palma & parts of Anaheim. Irvine's Asian community is more heavily Chinese then the north OC population, though Korean Americans are still a sizable percentage.

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 weeks ago@umichvoter Irvine is a major population center of this district & Irvine is among the parts of the county where there is a large Asian community, Irvine's community being different then the Asian community of Little Saigon in Garden Grove & Westminster which is Vietnamese or OC Koreatown..

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 weeks ago@umichvoter its not simply about getting a top tier Asian candidate, Asians aren't a monolith, there are a number of different Asian communities in Orange County, in specific parts of the county. Vietnamese, Korean, Taiwanese and Chinese, etc.

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 weeks ago@TSwiftNZ the final date of the tour for the US leg on August 9th in Los Angeles

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 weeks ago@DW_Designs68 @MarkRuffalo Whats even more crazy about it is that more then 60% of Americans already don’t have gas stoves & the ones that do are largely in blue states, namely California where gas stoves are used in a nation leading 70% of households, but also New Jersey, New York & Illinois!

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
2 weeks ago@OtaeFn @jonathanoosting @MWPolitics101 a great list to start.. the one area though where i was expecting to see quick action thats missing is climate policies, specifically an update, extension & strengthening of the states renewable portfolio standard and perhaps some state incentives for electric vehicle purchases

3 weeks ago@monakiki2525 @TeachOrSwim @jb_montgomery @RichardRubinDC Finally i would just add that the other half of funding goes to customer service improvements, taxpayer services, technology modernizations & development of a direct & free e-file system (something other developed nations have long had)

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
3 weeks ago@monakiki2525 @TeachOrSwim @jb_montgomery @RichardRubinDC Second, the very wealthy & corporations have much more complex tax returns, with far greater ability to skip corners & hide income..there simply isn’t a huge need to audit someone whose tax return is just them taking the standard deduction

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
3 weeks ago@monakiki2525 @TeachOrSwim @jb_montgomery @RichardRubinDC The IRS makes money on audits of these individuals far more then audits of low & middle income taxpayers for obvious reasons.. for starters these people owe FAR more in taxes, the average audit recovery for the wealthy is many times the average persons entire tax bill..

Maaatt @Maaaatcaaast
3 weeks ago@monakiki2525 @TeachOrSwim @jb_montgomery @RichardRubinDC Dude you are DELUSIONAL.. half the funding does go to increased enforcement, but enforcement of “corporations & high-net-worth individuals” to return audits of those groups back to historical norms (those making more then $5 million are audited today at 2%.. it was 16% pre-2010)
