Rep. James Clyburn on the debt ceiling deal: “There's a lot of whining on the right. There are a lot of concern on the left. But I do believe… both parties will come together.” on.msnbc.com/45wPZjL
@MSNBC Yes it's a fair compromise. It's also kicking the can down the road by not getting to the root of the problem while also making some problems more pronounced. It's more of the same republican haggling with brinksmanship while democrats are compromising. congresses M.O. erosion
@MSNBC Debt ceiling increases and with the increases in defense spending and decrease in irs costs to get weathly tax cheats. Looks like we increased our debt ceiling and increased our spending and annual deficit. And the gop thinks this is a 100 percent win for them. Huh
@MSNBC Republicans and Democrats should be content. Why? Because the economy won’t be folding. Because people who have 401ks and stocks won’t be jumping out of windows. Because small businesses can continue and people on disability won’t be worse or veterans.
@MSNBC Corrupt and compromised Clyburn is one of the priorities who must be removed from office and disciplined for everything an unfettered criminal investigation reveals.
