When it reaches these temperatures and you think that one in 53 people in London is homeless and there are actually more bedrooms than people here, you know that hundreds of homeless people dying yearly in one of the richest cities in the world is just a cruel political choice.
@Lowkey0nline where is this stat from? doesn't look right according to these figures statista.com/statistics/381… regardless, the point remains that there's many avoidable fatalities while solutions are available. never excusable and always tragic.
@Lowkey0nline @RickyDHale If it were down to me, all properties empty>1yr would be confiscated and given rent free to the homeless! Market pressure of lost investments would soon see the 1000s of investment properties across UK back in use!

@Lowkey0nline Yeah you think our government would house the homeless first before any refugees or foreigners or anybody cheating the system with to many family members in one house and van pleading poverty…. The people Cb on our streets are poverty…….
