Voting in midterm elections not only affects the entire country but can greatly impact local communities. Hyper-local policies shape our immediate surroundings, and voting can help ensure that voices are heard, rights are protected, and change can be made.
To shed light on this, activist Leah Thomas takes us to her hometown of St. Louis, MO, highlighting two environmental issues affecting her community and what can be done to help. #LeoGoesLocal
@LeoDiCaprio leo, don't you have a high school girl you need to be chasing?
@LeoDiCaprio #LeoGoesLocal is totally awesome! Thanks for opening our eyes to Leah Thompson’s community’s environmental hazards struggle. There are way too many toxic contaminants undermining the health and quality of life for way too many Americans. Thanks for shedding light on this.
@LeoDiCaprio I already power washed a a #LAfitness I was in charge of as a janitor because I understood to do that and saw my father do "dirty work" on his own home. Whether or not you do anything about it it’s going to cause disease. I had to go buy my own $100 power washer to get this shit.
@LeoDiCaprio That’s why I brought that up when I talked about Jojo rabbit. Treating the Jewish people as surfs made their people diseased and sick.
@LeoDiCaprio This video isn't playing actually
