Here's our piece from last night on coronavirus: youtu.be/c09m5f7Gnic
@LastWeekTonight Pray hard for #PublicHealth care. We need neither catastrophize, nor downplay the natural transmission of diseases. We can be ignorant of biology or alternately, implement public health care efforts that address the imperative of human survival - not BOTH. oregonlive.com/coronavirus/20…
@LastWeekTonight What if #HealthCareForAll was instead called basic #PublicHealth care required for the #SurvivalOfOurSpecies? How would you like it then? What alternative do you have if you don't like it? "As Testing Quickly Ramps Up, Expect More U.S. Coronavirus Cases" npr.org/2020/03/01/810…
@LastWeekTonight So is it ironic that countless people live and camp on these beautiful and contaminated North #Portland #Willamette riverfront lands with #HealthHazardsExist signs - or alternately, do we no longer have standards of community, compassion and humanity as a society? Which is worse?
@LastWeekTonight Who today is concerned with #PublicHealth? What does #HealthCareForAll look like when people live and camp openly without basic sanitation, food & housing? How can America stem disease transmission while ignoring the living conditions of our most vulnerable & exposed populations?
