People don't "hate" WotC. We are sick of being hated by them. There is a fine line there. No one is going to give money to people who so openly hate them. WotC can repair the damage if they choose. All they have to do is cleanse the cancer that has taken over the company.

3PP is the way to play D&D 5e. There is so much good stuff out there for it that plays so much different from standard 5e. Best of all, you don't have to support WotC to enjoy it. Just get the free basic rules and go to town!

Another underrated and missed RPG by far too many gamers:
Playing a character with a severe flaw is way more fun than playing one without any. Mary Sue syndrome has taken over the hobby and it makes the space way less fun to interact with.
Why is the TTRPG space being torn apart? Because the normal players have allowed the discourse to be controlled by the worst excesses of both ends. We need to stop allowing the conversation to center around weirdness and get back to just discussing games.
Would love to get this to the table. What underrated or underappreciated game would you like to get to the table?

Gaming is not about making you feel good, it is about having fun and enjoying oneself. If you can do the latter you will feel good. Stop thinking of the hobby as a therapist (for those who do) and start taking it as a way to escape the real world for a few hours.

I don’t mind people criticizing my books, but I do think it’s reasonable to expect that they read them first.
Regardless of how much good will you have, selling physical copies of your book at a convention when you haven’t even put in the print order for the Kickstarter backers of that same book is not a good look imo.
Ok #ttrpg GMs, I'm going to say it, because I'm sure other people have been there. Sometimes a session just felt bad...and that's okay. If your players say they had fun, you did fine. Identify what you didn't like, accept it, work on it, and fuel yourself to do better next week.
