It is alleged Chinese government departments, including Publicity Department of the Central Committee of CCP, and Cyberspace Administration of China & Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, will undergo a major personnel change among mid- and high-level officials.
As usual, a review of the government work report will be presented and discussed during the handover, during and after the national Two Sessions 2023 to be held in March in China. According to my insider source, the case of #KrisWu is explicitly mentioned in the handover report.
Though the implications are yet unknown, my source maintains that the two government departments were indeed notified and consulted about the #KrisWu case. We are yet to see further results of this internal review of “the leftover affairs from the previous administration”, if any

It is also rumored that lately, the Canadian Embassy in China has also been actively following up on the #KrisWu case with the Chinese judicial authorities, more so than previously, leaving China feeling pressured.
@KrisWu_DMZ Really really hope Canadian Embassy knows what's going on with Kris Wu case🙏🏼
