I never really imagined being the 3rd Rhythm Devil but when @mickeyhart needed help raising that huge gong I must have been standing nearby. Guessing this is 1979 or so. They were filming something with Dad @BKreutzmann and Mickey out at his ranch in Novato.
The one and only William “Big Bill” Kreutzmann, my Grandfather. He always got great reactions when he wore this shirt to @GratefulDead shows. Since the 1940’s Big Bill was really into making these great home movies. That’s why my Dad @BKreutzmann got me a Super-8 camera.
A couple years back I was doing some promo stuff @CSNofficial. The coolest part was I got to call @Stephen__Stills, @TheGrahamNash and @thedavidcrosby to talk to them about their early days. While talking with Crosby he went into some great @jerrygarcia stories.
Every now and again it would dawn on me that the audience could see everybody standing behind the band during those great outdoor @GratefulDead shows. Case in point: I was sent this photo of me and the great Owsley "Bear" Stanley watching the band at the Greek (I think).
