If Germany can teach their students about the Holocaust, why can't Oklahoma teach about Jim Crow, Tulsa Race Massacre, the Allotment Act, Indian Boarding Schools and the Osage Reign of Terror. It's not just the history of our people who were the victims, it's your history too.
In a letter to state colleges and universities... "Please provide a full outline and review of every dollar that has been spent of the last ten years on diversity, equity, inclusion"
@JimGray17710373 They absolutely can. They just can’t teach it in a Marxist context called Critical Race Theory. CRT is a platform intended exacerbate relations between race and sex to exploit the resulting chaos, confusion and conflict to discredit American constitutional form of government.
@JimGray17710373 @BeSeriousUSA There is nothing in Oklahoma law that prevents teachers and schools from teaching this history. Do not comply beyond the law! Don’t try to please the ones who wrote it! The law says people can’t be told that they should personally feel guilty. That’s it. Don’t give away more.
@JimGray17710373 Odd…..I learned about all of those in Oklahoma history when I was in school.
@JimGray17710373 @BittrScrptReadr Slight problem with that: the folks who did all those bad things don’t want to think they are bad people. No one down south wants to think of their dead relatives as traders or enslavers. It’s easier for them to say they have no sin and pompously control how history is thought.
