@educator4ever36 Honestly, salary work includes extra hours. Contract hours are just a minimum - would we prefer hourly pay? No! But I absolutely agree that schools know teachers sink their own money into classroom supplies and supplementary activities.

Yes, but believing an extra scripture is not salvation-dependent. Believing that Jesus died for our sins, and the instruction to love one another is pretty much it. By that definition, members of the LDS Church (they have moved away from “Mormon”) are Christians. They love Jesus. They place a bit too much weight on works (service). They believe some wildly non-standard things. But they are some of the nicest, kindest, most helpful, loving, family oriented, committed to the Gospel people you will ever meet. I always think of the scripture, “you will know them by their fruits.” I just don’t believe something this good can come from something evil or wrong.
