@GregDoyle50 @FirePhotoGirl @LAFD @LAFDtalk @LAFDvalley @JoinLAFD @LAFDFoundation Serious safety violations in this shot. Surprised they allowed this photo to stay posted. I’m sure this firefighter will be talked to. Always my greatest fear is getting a great shot but not being able to use it due to the glaring safety violations. Great shot though
@IShootFire @GregDoyle50 @FirePhotoGirl @LAFD @LAFDvalley @JoinLAFD @LAFDFoundation Please know @LAFD does not seek to prohibit what a photographer chooses to publish. If you have a specific thought to offer on how that incident could have been better managed, we warmly welcome you to contact the Incident Commander via our Battalion 12 office at (818) 756-8612.
@LAFDtalk @GregDoyle50 @FirePhotoGirl @LAFD @LAFDvalley @JoinLAFD @LAFDFoundation I totally respect that as that is our 1st amendment right. I have had departments reach out and ask to take down certain photos due to these kind of issues. It’s great you allow us to share what we see and decide how to deal with what you see internally. Thank you
@IShootFire @LAFDtalk @GregDoyle50 @FirePhotoGirl @LAFD @LAFDvalley @JoinLAFD @LAFDFoundation I've looked at this picture for awhile and can't find the safety violation. Even tried looking at it like magic eye 3d image... nothing. I've never seen a fireground photog say something like that. Not a good look. Wouldn't want you on my fireground after that
