@teachrobotslove What is your opinion about infant circumcision? I very often hear people say they've never heard a man complain about being circumcised, but it's mostly done to boys, not men. Boys are indoctrinated into not complaining and the cycle continues. Something about hygiene shut up etc

I truly think that the UK should ban routine circumcision of babies - with no religious exemptions. Baby girls are already legally protected from being cut at birth, regardless of faith. Under sex equality laws, baby boys should have that same protection. People will argue that there are ‘benefits’ to mutilating boys at birth. That it reduces risks of certain diseases. But there is no other body part that we remove preventatively. Should we remove teenage girls breasts to prevent breast cancer? Should we remove baby boys prostates so they don’t get prostate cancer one day? Absolute nonsense, all of it. Leave baby boys alone, and if you don’t like that, do it somewhere else.

This comparison is more accurate than you think, but in the other direction. Whereas a pin prick on the clitoris is considered FGM and illegal, removal of 15 square inches of flesh from a boy's penis is ignored or celebrated.
