Do you think the #Browns extend DPJ this off-season?
@FDPodcastCLE Signing DPJ to an extension is quite risky, since he didn’t show much, playing with Watson and they won’t be able to afford him if he has a big year. They will need that money to sign a big time DT, as well as another receiver. There are no easy answers, when it comes to DPJ.
@FDPodcastCLE Trade him for a speedy WR and then go get DHop! Let’s Goooooo!
@FDPodcastCLE Yes, they aren’t letting him leave. Extending him allows them to spend more this year on 1 year deals or a deal while they develop some young DT/DL talent for example. Difference in adding 2 legit vet starters to DT. Him & Coop were too few duos in explosive passing plays in 22
@FDPodcastCLE Is his value significantly higher than Bell's? If they don't believe so, then no. I don't see him wanting less than 4yr/$40m with $25m guaranteed. That's not in the cards for this team atm
@FDPodcastCLE We need all the WR help we can get. He’d be an excellent #3
@FDPodcastCLE If they do not, they will regret it, and be making yet another mistake.
