So for many folk (who charge @ 3ph AC public points, spec’ing the small 40kWh Renault battery will = cheaper more useable car with better real world range. Small cells = more eco manufacture

@EpicWinningMaz Maz, watch out for V2H being limited on certain cars. @VW have capped the #IDBuzz to 4000hrs max for any one vehicle along with a lower than expected max power draw. Unfortunately I like you had hoped V2H would be the missing link between solar and heat pump. Won’t be with VW…

@electricfelix @simpljulien Another deficiency for @VW on the #IDBuzz is the V2H. Possibly mis-sold they have capped the max overall hours of use and the power available. Didn’t mention this when purchased but now trying to control how we use our vehicles. This smacks of inferior battery technology.
@electricfelix @simpljulien The optional 3pin UK outlet was expected to deliver 13A. It’s capped at 1A (300A max) and worse cuts out after 20mins. @VW have used a 12V caddy inverter instead of harnessing the big 77kW battery. Seems crackers. Can’t even recharge small power tool batteries. And no V2L!
@electricfelix @simpljulien There’s a buzz here has some software basics wrong with it… forgets it’s on battery care and switches it’s default back to “100% immediately”.Departure time charging is over an hour late every time! Forgets heating&steering wheel defaults.Radio+mirrors settings not user specific
