As Marjorie Taylor Greene visits insurrectionists in jail, claiming that there is a "two tiered justice system," let's actually look at facts. There have been approximately 1000 Jan. 6 rioters arrested so far. In 2020, after the George Floyd protests and riots, there were over 17,000 people arrested in the first 2 weeks of the protests. So don't ever tell me that this is somehow unfair or unjust. If you do the crime and if the authorities can apprehend you and provide evidence of a crime, you will do the time.
@EdKrassen Held without bail? Cannot see their families? Reported denial of Healthcare? Basically bullied into plea deals like the Government ALWAYS does? (Why conviction rate is high) That is the fair system you are talking about right?
@EdKrassen Literally people were burning down buildings and police stations and cars and stealing and looting during the Floyd riots. People on j6 literally took a stroll through the capital building
@EdKrassen I know you know nothing about the past, here's a real example of political violence. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1983_Unit…
@EdKrassen It seems to me the significant distinction has to do with the purpose of the protest. 1/6 was specifically intended to stop the counting of electoral votes and keep Trump in power. This factor makes all the difference.
@EdKrassen Remember these promoted insurrections?
@EdKrassen You and facts are like oil and vinegar! Damn, the more I read about you the more cringe it gets!
@EdKrassen The difference is you were rooting for the Floyd rioters- as most of you communists were. We weren’t supporting the rioters on Jan. 6th; we just want them tried, sentence of found guilty, and forgotten about.
@EdKrassen This is a stretch even for you Ed. The vast majority of those 17,000 people, who were arrested in over two dozen cities, were released with no bail. Even the two lawyers who firebombed the police car got less of a sentence than the Qanon shaman. Straw, grasped
