@MCUSDSupe I agree. My 11 year old washes and dries and my 7 year old folds. It isn't perfect, but good enough for them and a great responsibility to learn.

All school meals should be free for ALL students. No district should have to fight for payments and no parents should have to struggle to pay for meals at schools. #feedourkids

Today I complained because both kids had ballgames in separate towns and there was no way to watch both play. Then, I realized that there are 18 families in Texas that will never see their children breathe again. This has to stop.

Things I didn't know I signed up for: wrestling all day any day, opening small bowls with lids to find bugs, worms, or other creatures, scrubbing stains that won't come out of baseball pants. Good thing they're cute. #boymomproblems.

I will always advocate for free lunches for ALL students in all schools. The last 2 years have been full of uncertainty, but free school meals were consistent. Let's quit placing blame and take care of kids. politi.co/3IYjMGB

@EScottEngland So much truth in this. No one reached out to me when I left my principalship either. While my situation may have been different, there are some similarities and it is hard learning the reality of where you stand with people.
