Honest question: Why is Gregg Popovich still coaching? He’s obviously one of the elite coaches of all time. He has five rings and more wins than any coach in history. But this Spurs team sucks out loud. Retire. Get your flowers. Let ‘em build a statue. Travel. Enjoy life my guy.
@DougRussell Because he wants to coach Victor Wembanyama right?
@DougRussell Same could said of Boeheim..glad he's gone too..tired of entitled coaches that belittle the media and anyone that questions them..just leave
@DougRussell His wife died before Covid-19 pandemic and this must be how he keeps busy. The owner of the Team should consider moving him to the Front Office.
@DougRussell A) I believe he loves coaching B) Without a reasonable squad to compete, he is making the most out of his status C) He slowly, creeps into politics to fulfill his own desires. I have loved Pop. His resume is outstanding. I loved watching him coach Parker, Gino, TD, Kahwai...
@DougRussell Like other NBA coaches Popovich is great when he has great players. The players make the coach great not the other way around.
@DougRussell This says more about his character than anything. He didn’t quit when the times got tough. I love pop.
@DougRussell Wembanyama. If #Spurs get him in draft, he might coach another 10 years! Hahaha
