@TheCheapShowPod catching up on the last couple of weeks episodes, and I remember Barratt having a crack at soft drinks before. In the 90s they had Blackjacks & Refresher sodas as part of Woolies pick & mix mini cans. Can't find any reference to this online sadly.

@I_am_TandeH Oooh. That's interesting. I don't recall it myself but it sounds legit

@TheCheapShowPod If I ever get my hands on the time travel tech you use in the pod, 90s Woolies is the destination. The pick & mix also had Super Mario lemonade, various flavours of Mr Blobby soda, and tropical, and strawberry Pepsi in bizarrely short stubby cans.

@TheCheapShowPod Evidence has presented it's self on the most niche online museum I've possibly ever found. DO NOT fall down the rabbit hole of the search engine of this site, or your whole day will be lost to nostalgia. canmuseum.com/Detail.aspx?Ca…

@I_am_TandeH Can Museum???? 🤣 However, those drinks obviously existed and it would have been fun to test them

@TheCheapShowPod @I_am_TandeH Black Jacks are my absolute favourite so I wished a drink existed now for them 😍

@CraftyCornfield @I_am_TandeH I mean, it would probably be gross and most likely packed with sweeteners, but the original flavour may have been fun!

@TheCheapShowPod @I_am_TandeH Full of that delicious actual sugar! I wonder if the soaking the sweets in vodka trick would work like with skittles, Boozy Black Jacks? 🤔 I mean, I did the skittle one waaay back when I was a young student! Anything tasted good then!! 🤭
