Have you ever worked your butt off for a length of time (years) been told with out a doubt you are one of the best. As a matter of fact, this place could literally fall apart with out you. And then be denied a promotion? I did and I'm having a hell of a time let go! Just not koo

@Jamey_Messina Which is why I am with a company no more than five years post-Navy life. Military was the longest at 11 years 362 days. Sadly the only way to get a significant (thousands of dollars), you just gotta move onto the next. They can counter, but changes are always refreshing.

@sdjoe21 @Jamey_Messina I stared in one company. Went to another, suffered under a bad manager who always cut me down on reviews even though I was documented as his most productive and requested employee. Went back to my old job. Been there 17 years. Am I rich, no, but comfortable and like my job.

@Concudan @Jamey_Messina The return is always good, because old companies will realize what they lost. But they will have to pay up for those services. Thankfully, I have the data to prove my efforts and my teams; so one knock down my team reviews come year-end. 😈
