Most Texas school pay for days. They either give you extra days at your teacher daily rate of pay ($400/day x 20 days =$8,000 on top of stipend 10k and on top of teacher salary). Or to save money increase the stipend to 13.5k and you work to get the job done.

Just 1 reasons I can think of: the juice isn't worth the squeeze.Meaning that the results coming from the program don't match the school's mission and vision. Outside of that,parents should NEVER dictate a coach's place.
The California legislator who wants to ban youth tackle football has lost to coaches, parents and kids two times now. So he has chosen to go another route. @saveyouthfbca is keeping an eye on this.
Just talked to a Head Coach who got an extra 48 days on top of his teacher contract in $$ for coaching PLUS his stipend. Are there any other states that do this? That give teachers extra days on the schedule? That's sweet. Will never happen in CA, don't ever seeing union agree.

Most of the influential people I know don’t speak negatively on businesses or people. It’s when they don’t speak your name & they could have, that’s the real loss. There is so much value to a company or to you, when influential people share your name. Maximize that.
