On Saturday (2/8), come check out the annual jazz shows at the HS Auditorium. Holmes and Peet play the jr high show at 5 pm (free), and the HS Jazz Bands and Vocal Jazz play at 7:30 pm ($6 adults, students free). #TigerPride
Congrats to Josie Barry (Lead Alto Sax), Cohen Eichhorn (lead Trumpet), and Elle Smith (lead Tenor Sax), on their outstanding performance on Saturday (1/11) in the 4A NEIBA District Honor Jazz Band, directed by Chicago trumpeter Marques Carroll.

The composition, “Coming Home” by Katherine Bergman is made possible by a collaborative grant from the Cedar Falls Schools Foundation, the Cedar Falls Band Endowment Fund, and the CF Band Boosters. Many, many thanks to all three groups for their support of this project.
Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 7:30 pm, the CFHS Bands will perform a Winter Concert in the auditorium. This concert will feature a world premiere by Katherine Bergman (Class of 03) written for the Wind Symphony, titled “Coming Home.” Tickets are $6 at the door, passes accepted.
