We're experiencing the strongest recovery in the world, record low unemployment, slowing inflation, & a bright future thanks to the bipartisan infrastructure law, Inflation Reduction Act, & historic clean energy & manufacturing jobs;
In the face of the Russian invasion of a sovereign Ukraine, the Biden-Harris Administration has kept our NATO allies united and committed to the defense of democracy and the Ukrainian people;
President Biden also made it clear last night that he will protect our nation’s seniors and most vulnerable from Republicans’ proposed cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and protect access to reproductive health care;
As America faces a worsening overdose crisis, the Biden-Harris Administration has devoted billions to communities across the country to help people move into recovery, and announced new steps to stop the flow of fentanyl across our borders;
Now that gun violence is the leading cause of death amongst children, the President has remained committed to an assault weapons ban — a solution we know will reduce gun deaths, because when we implemented one in 1994, it worked;
And even in the face of some of the most divisive political discourse, I’m encouraged that President Biden outlined a wide range of areas – including ending cancer as we know it, supporting our nation’s veterans, and tackling the mental health crisis – where he is determined to find bipartisan consensus.
We continue to face historic challenges. But last night, President Biden showed that he believes in America’s strength and resilience, and has the plans we need to ensure a brighter tomorrow for all Americans.
@BillClinton If President Clinton says it, I believe it! If ever a president had a plan, it was him. Even though I just can't understand Biden.
@BillClinton What about Marc Fogel? #FreeMarcFogel
@BillClinton All nice goals, who doesn't want cancer gone? My issue, will always be my issues, how do we pay for it (don't say increase taxes)? Our spending and the subsequent deficit are not sustainable. We need to make choices on our spending, including defense, social security & medicare.
