Catchy AGI podcast title: “We’re All Gonna Die.” But Eliezer Yudkowsky sincerely means it. Time to panic? Well, AGI doomers have been under fire lately. Fairly? First, let’s get to the heart of Eliezer's worst-case scenario. I’ve made the case a little more visual:

"If we held anything in the nascent field of Artificial General Intelligence to the lesser standards of engineering rigor that apply to a bridge meant to carry a couple of thousand cars, the entire field would be shut down tomorrow." time.com/6266923/ai-eli…

A frightening and very worthwhile read on AI.

@BillAckman Let me guess....you want the federal government to get involved and print trillions of dollars to save us

@BillAckman And everyone thinks I'm over-reacting about AI. This shit is already out of control and no one's been able to regulate big tech in 20 years, so what will they be able to do about this??

@BillAckman Hey Bill. Can you give an update on $PSTH please. Still got a strange call option or whatever that is in my portfolio

@TheDogFromFami1 We filed a revised registration statement with the SEC. We are waiting for it to become effective hopefully soon.

@BillAckman Everything this guy has ever created that I know of is worthwhile.

@BillAckman Because it comes down to the speed of technological innovation. In the case of AGI, once its on & accesses internet it has capability to essentially replace 60% of jobs. Wether it be design work, accounting, movies (from script to finshed product), business administration, etc

@BillAckman its already too late. pandoras box has been opened ... it cant be closed. you're standing in front of a house engulfed in flames, telling people not to light matches.

@BillAckman Not a believer in dooms day scenario but we’ll be turbulent future with intricate balance between human and artificial intelligence 🎯😎🤦🏻‍♂️
