@BPredict Baseball is now also a clock-based sport to a degree. I don't feel like I'm only clock-watching when I watch football so I don't see why this is different

@BPredict I didn't say that players are doing anything differently. They just hav to throw the ball before the clock expires. I do not buy the notion that people's eyes are drawn to motion and therefore will only be watching the clock. We watch football just fine
