DeSantis’s crew has been so busy whining about the press, it didn’t see the Orlando Sentinel’s public notices that would’ve alerted them to Disney’s “King Charles III” ploy. A law prof calls it “negligence on the part of the governor’s office” wsj.com/articles/disne…

You have to figure, these Disney lawyers couldn’t believe their luck

And that's why you always read the legal ads (*at least if you're trying to build an authoritarian state)

Passengers and Crew! Make way for @jbenton who brings us the public notices that DeSantis and his team missed.

How did the Disney lawyers ever pull a fast one by the guy who thinks tap water makes you gay cnn.com/2023/03/03/pol…

@BGrueskin I keep wondering, how much did the new board members “donate” to get their positions.

Please investigate why we weren’t aware of a public meeting nytimes.com/2023/04/03/bus…

And a reminder: It's all fun and games when the Aladdin and Goofy jokes fly. But it's quite different when DeSantis is having people -- most of them Black -- arrested over dubious vote-fraud charges, or making false promises to migrants to lure them onto an airplane.

@BGrueskin @RobertMaguire_ Disney lawyers don’t play. Disney pays very well, and you get what you pay for.

@BGrueskin I thought tap water was supposed to make you into a Commie, but then again I'm old

@BGrueskin Floridian here...I have said many times that Disney will be just fine with out Florida, they could take their toys and set up shop somewhere else and recoup. Florida would be royally screwed without Disney

@BGrueskin @Stonekettle So, on one hand he’s saying that oestrogen from birth control pills in the water are the reason there are homosexuals (doesn’t explain lesbians though), yet he also says that homosexuality destroyed the Roman Empire. Not a lot of birth control pills in the Roman Empire. 🤔
