My mind has changed on student loan forgiveness b/c of this article alone. Millennials were deceived by their parents, who were deceived by what they believed were the steps towards a being a productive citizen in this idea of a country called the "USA." businessinsider.com/democrats-repu…
@_BarringtonII Wouldn't it make sense for companies to offer paying student loans? Many offer to pay for college. It would be useful if former students could access those same funds for direct student loan payments. I wouldn't give it directly to the students. Thoughts?
@mdtravisii @_BarringtonII This is one of the most logical ideas I’ve seen yet. It would depend heavily on whether the said degree of the employee is useful to the business though. A Med sales company for example, isn’t paying for an interior design degree & shouldn’t, but doesn’t mean they wouldn’t.
@BDavenport7 @_BarringtonII Most entry-level companies don't require college to align with a specific job. Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, Starbucks, and such. Doing the loan payment would be a competitive employment attraction tool.
