Doctors who treated five-year-old Logan Mwangi months before his murder failed to raise concern over injuries with child protection, review finds bbc.in/3GIu8Mb
@BBCBreaking The so called “doctor” should be named, shamed and then struck off. Appalling lack of professionalism.
@BBCBreaking That poor boy. Another, failed spectacularly, by all those supposed to be there for him💔
@BBCBreaking Absolutely horrific but child services are useless in my experience.
@BBCBreaking Is reports to CPS anonymous? If so perhaps some health officials could have voiced their concerns. This is such a heartbreaking case & this little fella was badly let down from people who should have loved & protected him. By medical staff too. May Logan Mwangi continue to RIP.
@BBCBreaking Sounds like South Africa. All should be charged and sent to prison
@BBCBreaking Why there's only foreign sounding names in these reports of child abuse? Is it because when professionals see it, they tend to look away and focus on British kids? Last decade is littered with examples like this: theguardian.com/society/2013/s…
@BBCBreaking It's awful, but people who don't have to make difficult life or death professional decisions every day should be slow to criticise people who do when they get one wrong. Most of can be grateful that if we make a mistake at work it costs someone a few quid, but no child dies.
