"Don't show appreciation to new followers, it's so annoying and should be a violation of Twitch TOS" That sure is a hot take... One of the reasons for live streaming is direct engagement and showing appreciation to supporters should never be shunned upon... Terrible take IMO.

If you solo into a quads game, you essentially set the expectation to be good enough to represent 4 players alone. Either live up to that or play solos. Ain't the games job to help you live up to that.

It's sad that this type of engagement baiting has become so rampant on Twitter. I do however think the community notes is one of the few good changes Twitter has gotten since the Elon takeover. A lot got worse, but community notes was actually a nice change.
