@danno_omen I agree 100%. Sadly within a year or two after this deal closes you know Xbox will be right there to scoop up more publishers, this was the biggest publisher they could buy that would throw up flags, so we will be having this convo again and again when they close this market

@shinobi602 No other company in the industry has a cool 30+ billion they can spend every year on acquisitions. And if this deal didn’t mean much to the trade commissions they won’t care about MS buying up publishers who don’t sell as much as ABK & aren’t worth more than 10-20 billion.

@shinobi602 I think MS will go after a few individual teams very soon after this closes. Then pivot back to publishers, I assume they will “save” Ubisoft & then pursue other options very soon CDPR fits their wants but I could see SEGA, Capcom & Bandi Namco all bought within the decade.

Japan obviously doesn’t separate Nintendo & PS, the other commissions are concerned with their territory, so this is just inconsequential.

@llouck7 25% for a single player game that’s 40 hours long or more and as a huge casual audience is actually quite a lot. I see a ton of single player games have a 10% completion rate or worse. I’m going to 100% the game and I haven’t beat it yet.
